Updated Section 301 Tariff Additional duty increase (May 10, 2019)

The office of The United States Trade Representative implemented additional Section 301 tariff as of May 10, 2019. The Section 301 increasing the rate of additional duty from 10 percent to 25 percent for the products of China. Under this implementing modification, for products that were exported prior to May 10, 2019 are NOT subject to the additional duty of 25 percent, as long as products are entered into the United States prior to June 1, 2019. The products that are entered into the Untied States on or after June 1, 2019, are subject to the 25 percent rate of additional duty.
